Editorial Reviews Book Description Do you believe in God Jehovah? Do you believe in Jesus the Christ? Do you believe in angels? Do you believe in life after death? Do you believe in the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ? Do you believe that God is in control over all things–creation, life, death and your circumstances? This material may be unsuitable to some, and offensive to others. This is not my intent. My express purpose is to simply share the pain, suffering, deaths, sickness and blessings we face daily, and to be a witness for Christ in a dying world. The question is, how do we handle these trials and tribulations? We were not promised a life free of trouble, nor a bed of roses, free from disaster. We were only promised the comfort of the Holy Spirit. All Scripture references are taken directly from the King James Version, The Open Bible, Expanded Edition.
Step 2: Your phone records and bills become classified information. EVEN FROM YOU!
WASHINGTON (CNN) — President Bush said Thursday the government is "not mining or trolling through the personal lives of millions of innocent Americans" with a reported program to create a massive database of U.S. phone calls.
"The privacy of ordinary Americans is fiercely protected in all our activities," Bush said in a statement he read to reporters at the White House. "Our efforts are focused on links to al Qaeda and their known affiliates." (Transcript of Bush’s statement)
Bush’s comments followed a USA Today report Thursday that telecommunications giants AT&T, BellSouth and Verizon have provided the National Security Agency with billions of records of domestic phone calls beginning shortly after the attacks of September 11, 2001. Colin Powell was sensible one, What a shocker!
WASHINGTON (Reuters) — U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice defended the Bush administration’s Iraq war planning Sunday after her predecessor, Colin Powell, said he had made a case to send more troops to deal with the war’s aftermath.
Rice also said she did not "remember specifically" what instance Powell was referring to on his recommending to President Bush that more troops be sent.
In an interview with a private British television station on Sunday, Powell said there had been debates about the size of the force and how to deal with the aftermath.
A day with backlash
WASHINGTON (CNN) — Organizers predict unprecedented participation in Monday’s rallies against a proposed crackdown on illegal immigration, with millions expected to boycott jobs, schools and businesses as a way to show the economic power of immigrants.
"It will be tens of millions from coast to coast, from Los Angeles to New York," said Javier Rodriguez, a spokesman for the March 25 Coalition.
